The Chair Lift (Libego) is the one of the most interesting sights of the hills of Buda. During your trip you can take delight in the beautiful panorama. It takes you up to the top of the Janos Hill from Zugliget. The track is 1040 metres long and it goes very slow above the gardens of Zugliget around 10-15 minutes! Note the bus route has changed. You need a 291 (still goto last stop). In Pest you can get this from Nyugati stop on M3 line. In Buda you can pick it up at Budagyöngye (Bus 22 or tram 61 from Moszkve ter). Just went today. Nice trip. If you feel adventurous round trip of cog railway (up the hill), then childrens railway (across), then chairlift (down) and bus back is possible.

Our family of 4 (with 2 kids) visited Budapest in spring, 2008. Chair Lift was our BEST attraction! From the city center take a red line metro line to the 'Moszkva ter'. After take a bus #158 to the end. From the Vaci Utca would be not more than 30-40 minutes!
