MEO Museum (posted review)

3cbsr891veThis is a must see I have yet to see! Budapest has hundreds of museums and I have found this newly opened contemporary art collection. And I think contemporary art is hot and not to be missed! (Lucky me – when visiting the Castle district and their National Gallery, the part was closed for renovation – oh, yes, the contemporary art part!) However, I just had this adress of MEO museum József Attila u. 4-6 and couldn’t know which one of Jozsef Attila’s streets was this on my map. I was so sorry!!!

Anyway, I got an e-mail from the museum staff (a bit too late) so I can publish more info. Opening ours are as follows: Mon: closed, Tue–Thur: 11–18, Fri: 11–22, Sat–Sun: 11–18 According to the directions I was given in an e-mail, you can take ANY Metro (1,2,3) to Deak ter. Now I am checking my map again… OK, so this is NOT Jozsef Attila in the city centre!!! (Also there are several ! Arpad utca-s to make things more complicated.). After reaching Deak ter you go to metro number 3 (or stay on it if you are there). It will take you to the NORTH (! I read somewhere the museum is on the south.). One station before the end station you take off – this is Ujpest Varoskapu station. Now there is Arpad u and then there is the right Jozsef Attila! Please, send me and e-mail if you have visited the museum!
