The building of the Museum of Fine Arts was designed by Albert Schickedanz (just as the Hall of Art on the other side of the Square). The foundation of the Museum was decided in 1896, the work started in 1900 and the Museum opened it’s doors in 1906. The museum is hosting Egyptian, antique and also temporary 20th century expositions. Open from 10 am to 5:30 pm (closed on Monday).
